March 2010 Shows
The March Housing Matters show consists of two interviews. In the first, host Steve Towell interviews Vancouver Housing Authority's Work Opportunities Program Manager, Hilaree Prepula, and Jan Wichert, who directs the VHA's Work Opportunities Program Wichert discuss how the program helps families move from subsidized housing to success.
In the second interview Kristina Aitchison, Executive Director for Evergreen Habitat for Humanity, and Chad Peterson, Evergreen Habitiat for Humanity's Board Chair, talk about how their organization works to improve living conditions for low-income Clark County residents by partnering with those residents and the community at large to build houses.
