INVITATION FOR BIDS - SKYLINE CREST DEMOLITION
The Vancouver Housing Authority will receive bids for project 201504 - SKYLINE CREST DEMOLITION until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in the Community Room of the Vancouver Housing Authority, 2500 Main St., Vancouver, Washington 98660 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Work consists of, but not necessarily limited to, demolition of four residential buildings, demolition of existing roadway, relocating existing electrical primary, installation of additional electrical for future projects and relocating existing waterline in an area close to 500 Omaha Way, Vancouver WA 98661.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - Construction and Tax Credit Financing for Lincoln Place Apartments
Vancouver Affordable Housing, in partnership with the Vancouver Housing Authority, is seeking financing proposals for construction and tax credit financing for the Lincoln Place Apartments project, a 30 unit, permanent housing project for homeless individuals. ATTENTION PRIVATE DEVELOPERS/INVESTORS
VHA welcomes proposals from private developers/investors for the sale, master lease with option to purchase, or other disposition to VHA, of new or existing multifamily developments in Clark County, Washington. Preferred proposals will be for developments of between 120 and 180 units, located in employment growth areas and/or areas with a shortage of decent, safe and affordable housing. Proposals should include a description of the development in sufficient detail to permit VHA to evaluate the feasibility of operating the development to provide housing to low- and moderate-income persons. The VHA contracts for property management and client services. Requests for Proposals are publicized in local media and are posted here on our website.
The VHA Development Department works to increase the amount of quality, affordable housing in Clark County. Developments have included special needs properties for seniors and disabled people, homes for first-time home buyers, tax-credit and bond-financed affordable apartment buildings, and multi-use developments that revitalize neighborhoods by providing housing for a mix of income levels.

Construction and Renovation
The VHA's commitment to high standards of quality requires periodic renovation as properties age. Specifications for these projects are posted at area plan centers.

The VHA purchases and warehouses items necessary to maintain our subsidized and affordable housing. Examples include appliances, plumbing supplies, paint, flooring, window coverings, landscaping equipment, etc.
